3rd GradeMy
name is Allyson Porath, and this will be my 6th year teaching. I have
taught 3rd and 4th grade, and I am currently the building coach
for MTSS-B (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support for Behavior). I have a
bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood
Education from Concordia University. My expectations are high for my
3rd grades to get them prepared for 4th grade.
In my classroom we do a lot of singing, group work, laughing, and
kinesthetic activity.

3rd GradeMy name is Angie Rosenthal and I will be your child’s 3rd grade teacher this year! This is my 9th year
teaching in OPS, and I taught in the Papillion-LaVista school district before coming to Omaha Public Schools. I have taught 2nd, 5th, and 3rd grades, with 3rd being my
absolute favorite!
I graduated with dual degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary
Education from Peru State College. I then participated in the Primarily
Math program at UNL, earning a Master of Arts degree in Teaching and
Learning, with a minor in Mathematics Teaching. I love
teaching Math! I am currently studying at Midland University to earn my
Master of Education with National Board Certification and a Principal’s
endorsement.
I have been married for nearly 26 years and have three awesome kids – my
boys are in their 20’s and I have one daughter at home who will be a
senior in high school during the 2020-21 school year. We love traveling,
camping, gardening, cooking, duck hunting,
and fostering/adopting dogs. One of my favorite things to do in the
summer is see how many books I can read. I usually go through about six
novels per week! I also love all things Hawaii, as you will clearly see
when entering Room 124. Aloha! STAFF:
