Hello! My name is Sara Lee and I am so excited to be your child’s Head Start teacher. This is my twelfth year of teaching and fifth year at Boyd. OPS has been a major part of my life because before teaching I was a student from kindergarten to 12th grade in our wonderful school district. I graduated from UNO with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Early Childhood. While teaching, I completed my Master's in Early Childhood through Concordia University.
There are so many rewarding parts about being an Early Childhood teacher, especially building relationships with the students at such a young age. I love watching them grow academically and socially.
When I am not teaching, I find joy in spending time with my husband of ten years and my two boys, 5 and 7. You can catch us traveling, camping, on the baseball field, or on the nature trails. We absolutely love the outdoors.
